My contribution to Broadcast Journalism

The story I covered was about the transition from to the Bluray DVD format. I wanted to talk about the new technology that will be taking over the DVD world. Throughout covering this story I learned that including sound was a very important thing. I included sound from a movie that will be coming out with a bluray edition. I also included many SOTs from an interview I did with a newhouse professor that was knowledgable about the topic. I thought it was a very successful story but the ending was a little weak.  I could have ended talking about the future of the industry but instead I talked about the fact that there will always be something better that comes along.
